Beth | Portraits

Beth and I met several years ago at the community college we both attended. After just one day of working side by side in the photo lab developing prints, we were best buds…phone number exchanges, sleepovers, and signing up for classes together. When we met, both of us had boyfriends who were living out of state. It took months until we were able to arrange a double date but when we did, luckily for us, our guys hit it off too. Since then we have both gotten engaged, I was married, and Tyler and her are planning for a September wedding. She is getting ready to graduate from SAA in just a few months, with a degree in graphic design. During her spring break this week we managed to fit in two visits, and take a bit of photos.

Homemade Granola | Recipe

1.  Heat oven to 300 degrees F.

2. In a mixing bowl stir together all dry ingredients (oats, almonds, salt, and cinnamon).

3. Melt coconut oil using a double boiler, on medium heat. Add honey and syrup to coconut oil, stirring till liquids become smooth.

4. Pour liquids into the mix of dry ingredients and stir till oats become dark and coated with liquid.

5. Spread oats on a cookie sheet or glass baking dish. Leave in oven approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Serve with a dollop of greek yogurt or eat dry for a tasty snack!

Introducing: The Sister Special

The “Sister Special” is the blend of a peppermint mocha & an americano.

It makes for a semi-sweet coffee drink (without being too sweet). It is what my sisters and I get everytime we meet to run errands together.

Brothers will have to create their own beverage, sorry bros.
